Preservation of our wetlands means protecting the natural domain of plant and animal life, where food, rest and shelter for countless species is often taken for granted. Wetland restoration programs ensure that the balance of nature will be preserved.

Everglades National Park’s Hole-In-The-Donut Wetlands Restoration and Mitigation project is a defining example of our nation’s environmental commitment. Westwind’s expertise is integral to the successful completion of this outstanding project, and the United States Department of the Interior’s contract award to Westwind is just one example of how many have come to rely on our specialized knowledge in this area.

Westwind’s wetland restoration experts are repeatedly called upon to accommodate the special demands of development in south Florida’s unique wetlands and waterfront areas. Since the 1980’s, Westwind has performed more than a dozen mitigation projects totaling over $50 million.
