Westwind Continues Work on St. Johns River Water Management Project – The Herndon Swamp Restoration

Works continues at SJRWMD (St. Johns River Water Management District) Fellsmere Water Management Area (FWMA). When completed, FHMA will convert 10,000 acres of agricultural land to a mosaic of open water and marsh communities. The project will provide additional water supply and flood protection. Westwind has several units of it's equipment fleet working under SJRWMD expert direction and supervision. “Working at remote sensitive areas is one of Westwind’s specialties’ and we are proud to be part of this ambitious project” commented Ryan Parks’ : project superintended for Westwind’s SJRWMD projects.
