Clearing

In almost any project, clearing and grubbing is the first order of work. This includes removal of all trees, stumps, roots and any other obstructing matter resting on or protruding from the surface of the ground (except for those designated to remain).

As with all our services, Westwind is able to perform all clearing tasks with maximum efficiency because our team is well trained and dedicated and because we own and operate our own machines. We have:

• Large and Small Hydro-Ax Machines
• Clearing Excavators with Thumbs and Rakes
• Clearing Dozers with Rakes and Protection Cages
• Loaders with Rakes
• Large Morbark Horizontal Grinder

With our own equipment and our own teams of workers Westwind gets the clearing done quickly so as to allow the development work to begin.

In fact, many times there is a Westwind development crew on site beginning work as the Westwind clearing team prepares the ground in front of them.
